The private dwelling of Swan House is a Grade 2 listed building, in Blakeney, Gloucestershire. The owner wanted a very high standard of comprehensive repair and renovation of the building, plus some internal alterations.
Apex employed several specialists to conduct in depth reports to ensure that they developed a sensitive approach to the project. Building Archaeologists were able to determine the exact age of the building, with timber specialists dating materials used in the original fabric of the building. Both Historical Surveys and Conservation Reports were carried out to ensure that all the work done was to the highest specification and respectful of the historic fabric of the building.
